Hi OBGYN.netters,
Big things going on this week at the Women and Patient side of OBGYN.net. Remember last January when I wrote: "A New Year and New Beginnings"?
Well it's Now a Happening Thing! I am in the process of forming an Advisory Board for our section of OBGYN.net. Whew, it's a Really Big Undertaking. This Advisory Board will oversee W/P in the same manner as the group does on the Medical Professional side. The success of OBGYN.net Women and Patients warrants the creation of a special Advisory Board dedicated to the future growth of this wonderful resource to women globally.
At this time the Board is slated to have membership consisting of Medical Professionals and selected women who are actively involved in the Women's Health Forum. The Women's Health at OBGYN.net Advisory Board Members will be focused on making sure OBGYN.net is continually meeting the evolving needs of Women and Patients World Wide.
After this is accomplished we will seek Correspondents to head up different sections of the site. This will include; but not be limited to, Book Reviews, Miscarriage, Infertility, Breast Cancer, Menopause, Chat/Discussion, well I think you get the idea by now...
It's a Big Task and as Editor I will be very busy in the weeks ahead getting everything in place. I am asking for your help. Write me and tell me where you see yourself in this scenario. What section would You like to be involved in? Where do you feel Comfortable?
Janet Tomko, has already taken on the responsibilities for The Comfort Zone. This section is being re-named, at her request. From now on it will be, OBGYN COMFORT ZONE; WOMEN HELPING WOMEN! I just love that name. It's you and me helping each other. Janet is editing your letters and seeking new people to write articles. She can use your help I'm sure.. She is Very enthusiastic about Women's Health at OBGYN.net.

I really too was filled up with good tears when I read your "My Journey Living With Breast Cancer"...this site means so much to me and I would be very honored to help in any format or fashion. I have contacted my friend George and think he would be an added addition to offer Physical Therapy insight in women's health issues. Your site has taught me one thing, as I read through the beginning of Ramblings and Reflections I saw two women share in watching their dreams evolve to current day. Guys, YOU ARE THE SITE for women. Other links pale in comparison. Allow me to dream to the future but I also think published work of the archives is possible. Think of how many women are not on the web at this current time and the lack of resources available to them. Can you see Oprah doing a review of the OBGYN.NET Women helping Women on her show? Can you see a Rosie O'Donnell sharing copies of this book with her audience, I can."
