This newsletter is the brainchild of an internet support group known as PREEMIE-L. This newsletter is a way to tap into the various topics currently being discussed by PREEMIE-L.  The one overall idea is that knowledge gives us power, and the ability to make informed educated decisions.

PREEMIE-L
For parents with children born six weeks or more before due date, and family and friends.  Members of the group are interested in exchanging information and opinions on a range of issues.
 
Premature Delivery
Audiohealth Library.  A delivery is considered premature when it occurs before the 37th week of pregnancy. Normal delivery, or full-term delivery, occurs at about 40 weeks after the last normal menstrual period. Most premature deliveries result from unexpected, premature labor
