the show to new ratings, strength and respect. Ratings jumped 15%
the week she joined the program, now the country’s third highest

Norville joined INSIDE EDITION from CBS News, where she won
one EMMY for 48 HOURS “Flood, Sweat & Tears.” At CBS,

Jane Ruth Schwebke, MD, is an Associate Professor
of Medicine in the Department of Infectious Disease and Associate
Professor of Epidemiology in the School of Public Health at
the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. Schwebke is a clinical researcher, studying vaginal flora
and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). In addition to her
research, Dr. Schwebke is the Medical Director of the Jefferson
County Department of Health STD Clinic where she provides
patient care and instructs medical students, residents and
fellows.

David E. Soper, MD, is a Professor in the
Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Medicine, Division
of Infectious Diseases at the Medical University of South
Carolina (MUSC), in Charleston, South Carolina.
Dr. Soper is a clinical researcher, studying various aspects
of obstetrical and gynecological infectious diseases, from
vaginitis and post-operative infections to the efficacy of
the female condom. In addition to his research, Dr. Soper
is President-elect for the Infectious Disease Society for
Obstetrics-Gynecology, the Vice-Chairman for Business and
Clinical Operations, and the Director of the Division of Gynecology
for the MUSC Ob/Gyn Department.
