| These are from a case I did yesterday. The umbilical arteries pass on either side of this cystic mass, making us believe that it is a patent urachus (urachal cyst). However, there are septations that appear to be loops of bowel between/within the structure and between it and the urinary bladder. Question, can a urachal cyst have septations, or how often are dilated loops of bowel associated with urachal cysts? The kidneys appear to be normal. The fetal age by multiple fetal parameters is 31.8 weeks, the abdominal circumference is right at +2SD for size (35.4 weeks), and the LNMP was reported to be 33.1 weeks. | ||
