Undecended Fetal Testes
Sagittal-oblique and a transverse scan of not yet descended testicles in a 23 weeks fetus. The testicles were visible as two rounded symmetrical hyperechogenic structures located in the fetal pelvis. They were easy to outline because of fetal ascites probably due to early closure of the ductus arteriosus after a procedure of cord coagulation of the recipient twin for TTTS.
