New web site about the topic "Female Healthcare”

Schering starts extensive on-line information option for women

Are you in love? And, as a woman, are you thinking about planning your life and perhaps a family? Since 25th August, Schering's new web site www.femalelife.com offers information to young women that may help support them in their decisions. At first, femalelife.com is presented in an international English language version. By the end of 2000, Schering plans to offer almost 20 country-specific editions. Thus, women will be able to obtain information in their own language.

Femalelife.com intends to accompany women in different phases of their life, putting their personal well-being first. The new web site does not only answer questions about health, but covers a broad range of topics. Young readers, for example, will find information about "Sexuality and first love"; women who have had a baby will get tips how to organize their re-entry into the job. In addition, a list of "clickable" links makes femalelife.com an ideal starting point to find further interesting internet pages about the topic of "women".

Established in 1871 in Berlin, Germany, Schering is today one of the leading specialized life science companies. Schering´s activities focus on four business areas: gynecology, diagnostics, dermatology, and therapeutics for severe diseases such as multiple sclerosis, leukemia and hormone dependent tumors. With a comprehensive product range in the area of "female healthcare", Schering is active for women's health and is committed towards improving the quality of their lifes. As a research oriented pharmaceutical company, Schering is dedicated to medical innovation and offers its partners in the health sector an extensive service.
