Dr. Candace De Puy is a leading authority on women's issues with expertise in post-abortion healing and other individual and relationship issues. She is the former Clinical Director of an in-patient eating disorders unit in Los Angeles, California, where she was responsible for the treatment of several hundred patients. For the past five years, she has been in private practice in Southern California.
Dr. De Puy was on the faculty at New York University from 1982 to 1988. She has also been adjunct faculty at Antioch University and a guest lecturer in psychodrama at California State University at Northridge. Dr. De Puy has lectured on creative issues and held workshops in New York, Alaska, Holland and Spain.
Dr. De Puy has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California and a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in New York City.
