Is in private practise along with his wife, Dr Anjali Malpani, as consultant infertility specialists, with a practise which is restricted to infertility patients only.
They started India's first Sperm Bank in Bombay, for therapeutic insemination by donor using cryopreserved sperm. They have a full-fledged infertility unit, which provides comprehensive services, including IVF and GIFT and micromanipulation, including Testicular Sperm Extraction and Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (TSEICSI). They have authored a book, Getting Pregnant - a Guide for the Infertile Couple, published by UBS Publishers, Delhi in 1994. This is the first book of its kind in India.
They are also the founders and medical directors of India's first Consumer Health Education Resource Center - the Health Education Library for People.
