A Practical Course in Operative Gynecologic Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy & an Introduction to Robotics

Course Overview

Lectures will focus on the fundamentals of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, including anatomy, instrumentation, room set-up, energy sources, suturing, and techniques of reconstruction. Complications will also be covered, including prevention, recognition, and management. Participants will observe live surgery with interactive discussion, as well as participate in various hands-on laboratory sessions utilizing both animate and inanimate models.
