Madam ,   This procedure consists into the introduction of a sort of camera into your uterus & it will see if there is any pathology inside that may explain the spotting that you have . If there is a polyp for example or other lesion & this lesion is treated by the hysteroscope in removing it you will have no spotting anymore . If nothing has been found , you should know that spotting in midcycle may be due to hormonal changes (decrease in estradiol ) which can be treated by giving estradiol .   Good Luck Madam

I'm schedule to do this procedure next month because I have spottings between periods since October 2007.  Sometimes the spottings are heavy and lighter some days, my question to you is Will this procedure stops the spottings totally?

n.b.  I have had polys removed, did a cryocautary, lloop and the bleeding still continue.
