Dear OBGYN.netters,

Ever wonder why OBGYN.net is still alive and thriving when so many e-health .coms are going down the toilet? Read on for Roberta's take on the situation...

10. We chose to be a .net instead of the now tainted .com. 
9. Against all odds we were all just too stubborn or stupid to quit and give up. 
8. We haven't had a failed .com IPO because we were too busy building a real company to get around to doing one yet. 
7. We invested in content, community, and clients as opposed to Super Bowl ads. 
6. Ob/Gyn's, unlike Cardiologists, have adequate eye/hand coordination to operate the mouse. 
5. We actually have people visiting the website (almost 500,000 visits a month now)! 
4. "The Vagina", the gift that keeps on giving. 
3. We're good enough, we're smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like us. 
2. We didn't name the website after a retired U.S. Surgeon General.

1. Our OBGYN.net Editorial Board members, Correspondents, Forum Doctors, Staff and contributors are the best in the world, and they really like to keep their hand in things.
