In explaining how the program at UAMS works, Terry
stated, "The DMS Program is highly involved in distance education using
an interactive video network to provide live lectures between our three
campuses in Little Rock, Texarkana, and Fayetteville Arkansas during the
student's junior year. In the senior year the DMS course work is all Web based, which allows us to use more outlying clinical educational sites. The UAMS DMS program is accredited (CAAHEP.org) in abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, echocardiography, and vascular sonography. We grant a Bachelor of Science Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography." Specifics about the UAMS DMS program can be found on our Web pages: www.uams.edu Terry J.
