Submitting Articles and Papers
A primary purpose of OBGYN.Net is providing venue for professional publication. We encourage qualified submissions for two general areas of content: OBGYN.Net Features and the international "Internet Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology."
OBGYN.net readers are encouraged to contribute articles, features and papers to be published within our web pages. We invite registered practitioners to submit your ideas and text drafts to be considered for publication in appropriate sections of OBGYN.Net.
INTERNET JOURNAL OF OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY
This new, professionally reviewed online journal is primarily intended for papers of scholarly and scientific interest submitted by accredited practitioners and medical educators, active or retired. Content must be appropriate and relevant, meeting highest prevailing standards of medical practice and publication in the literature of Obstetrics and Gynecology.OBGYN.net FEATURES
Article and feature content are welcomed for the general interest sections of OBGYN.Net. Topics and content should be of general interest to our readership of Ob\Gyn medical practitioners, presented in a clear and accurate manner. Authors should display knowledge of subject with supporting professional credentials.
GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS
We recommend initial query messages prior to draft submission. Queries for OBGYN.net should contain explanation of topic, outline of article proposed, and information about author, including CV and publications.
Research data and factual representations offered must be supported by appropriate study results or citations from the literature.
Articles submitted by students must contain the following:
- Current educational level, academic standing and institution enrolled
- Cover letter from qualified reviewing instructor recommending article
Articles may be submitted by persons in Ob/Gyn-related businesses but must remain objective and unbiased, with no commercial favoritism. Bio-tag will mention author name, affiliation and relevant comments.
Although unique and original submissions to OBGYN.net are preferred, articles published in print elsewhere may be submitted if considered to be of sufficient value to our readership. Materials submitted must be accompanied by notice of any other publication.
Absent other written agreement, contributors assign first serial rights to OBGYN.net, including electronic, print, collection and anthology. OBGYN.net gives article author credit but does not pay contributors.
OBGYN.net is not responsible for unsolicited manuscripts. SASE must be enclosed for return of materials submitted.
Editorial standards, style information and more complete guidelines for materials to be published will be available from the editorial staff of OBGYN.net.

Submitting Articles to OBGYN.net
Intended Audience; the OB/Gyn physician or practitioner.
Please include the following with your article:
- Title of Article
- Author's full name
- Author's Institution or organization
- Author's full contact information - mail, Email, Web URL if appropriate.
- A short annotation describing the article (approximately 3 lines)
Articles in English may be submitted to: articles@obgyn.net. Articles in other languages may be submitted to an appropriate OBGYN.net International Representative.
Preferred Format
- Submit electronically
- HTML is encouraged; ASCII format
- Articles submitted in hard copy that need to be manually entered will have delays in publication or may not be accepted.

Photographs, Slides, Audio Clips, etc.:
Will be accepted only if processed and submitted as an electronic
file in a standard format (.gif, .jpg., .wav, .tiff, etc.). If
supporting electronic information is included the original
article should be in HTML so that the images are linked together,
or by referencing the graphic's file name, and any caption, in
the document, so that we know how you want graphics arranged.
Length
The Internet allows us to be more liberal with space
requirements. If this is an issue we will contact you.
Subject
Clinical, medical, business perspective, political - the
important concern is that it is relevant to Ob/Gyn physicians.
Reprints
OBGYN.net will print original articles or articles that have
previously been printed if submitted by the original author.
Articles submitted to OBGYN.net may be resubmitted elsewhere.
Deadline
None, articles will be published on the OBGYN.net web site as
processed and reviewed.
Disclaimer
OBGYN.net and its physician advisory board reserves the right to
review articles submitted. Commercial and promotional materials
are not accepted as editorial content.
