My
Story
  • I had PCOS for 3 Years before detection
  • Diagnosed on March 7, 2000
  • My Birthday is Monday, April 9, 1979
  • I live in Los Angeles, California USA
I started my menstration at the age of 11. I had always had a normal period until the age of 16. when I was 18 I went to see a specialist, who assured me that everything was fine & it was normal that I was not having a period, even if it had been 10 months. Still I stayed with this doctor for 2 years until I went for a second opinion, it was a nurse practioner who diagnosed me with PCOS. I gained alot of weight and have facial hair, which I am somewhat fine with. I am currently on Provera to help with my irregular periods. Hopefully when I decide to have children it will not be a horror for me.
