For most of my adolescent years I have had regular periods, even though I was not quite 10 years old when they had begun. It wasn't until after I had delivered my first child (son) when my periods became irregular and heavy. I didn't think anything of it for years. I became pregnant with my second child (son) three years later. Shortly after birth (at my six week check-up, then my next after that) I had repeated irregular paps. The ob/gyn confirmed dysplasia, removed polyps and performed a biopsy. Everything was fine. 2 1/2 years after my second child I became pregnant with my third child and experienced fibroid tumors. About one year after the birth of my daughter I began to gain weight. Before the birth of my oldest son I weight 102lbs, now 170lbs. I gained a total of 60lbs in less than two years. Also with each pregnancy hair (in the wrong places) became extremely noticable. I have to see an electrologist (very expensive). Now I am trying medication for help with all of these symptoms, glucophage XR 500mg to start increasing to 1000mg, and just recently prescribed Yasmin (have to start with next cycle). I honestly have never felt so horrible in my life.
