In the summer of 1998 I was diagnosed with PCOS after going off of birth control pills for the first time since I was a teenager. I gained almost 60 lbs. in a month, had hair growth and acne like you wouldn't believe. My current doctor wouldn't see me so I found a new one. He saw me right away and I was diagnosed with PCOS. My fiance, Eric, was super supportive. We are now married and working together on having a family of our own.
