My
Story
  • I had PCOS for 17 Years before detection
  • Diagnosed on May 12, 2002
  • I live in florida keys, florida USA
I was an early bloomer, I started my menses at the age of 8. I have always been labeled "irregular". I had ovarian cysts at the age of 16. For years I tried to make drs. understand. Finally a wonderful midwife ran the tests. They put me on metformin because my insulin levels were sky high. But I don't like it. It has been a year since I'm on it. All my life I've been moody and didn't know why. Now I know I wasn't crazy something was really wrong. Now that we decide to have children I can't conceive.
