I started having problems at the age of 17. Over the coarse of the next 6yrs, 4 different doctors told me that I was just too obese. "Lose some weight and your body will get back to 'normal'".My weight went up and down a little bit but mostly went up. Finally, after 6yrs of fighting with doctors (2 1/2 of these years my husband and I were trying to start a family), I found a doctor that knew what he was talking about. I am currently in the induction stage of the low-carb diet. I have a cousin who also has PCOS and we are working on it together. Our husbands could stand to lose a few pounds as well so they are being very supportive and doing the diet with us. I know I just have to continue to keep my eyes on God and he will see us through. You all do the same. God Bless!!
