As a Board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Dr. Feinberg is the Medical
Director for the IVF Program at Reproductive Associates. A native Philadelphian,
Dr. Feinberg graduated with both M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of
Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1983. His Ph.D. work formed the basis for his
career in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, focusing on how steroid
hormones function within the body. Dr. Feinberg extended his clinical work in
Women's Health by completing an internship and residency in Obstetrics and
Gynecology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale University in 1987. He then
returned to the University of Pennsylvania as an Assistant Professor on the
Standing Faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to
his clinical practice, he directed a March of Dimes funded and National
Institutes of Health funded research laboratory studying the molecules
responsible of human embryo implantation. In 1993 Dr. Feinberg was awarded a
sabbatical to pursue a clinical subspecialty Fellowship in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility at Penn. He remained on the Faculty at Penn
through his Fellowship and until 1997, when he joined Dr. McGuirk at
Reproductive Associates of Delaware. He also joined the clinical faculty at Yale
University School of Medicine in 1997, where he is currently an Associate
Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Division
of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is an attending physician with
the Christiana Care Health System/Medical Center of Delaware. Dr. Feinberg has
co-authored 35 publications, most as lead or senior author. He is an associate
member of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation, a member of the American
Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and a Fellow of the American College
of Obstetricians/Gynecologists (ACOG). Dr. Feinberg is also Board Certified by
the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
