Dr. Perloe graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1972 and received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University, Hershey Medical College in 1976. After completing Internship and Residency requirements in obstetrics and gynecology a the University of Wisconsin Clinical Science Center, he served three years in the US Public Health Service, Indian Health Service in Claremore, Oklahoma. He completed the book Miracle Babies and Other Happy Endings in 1984. In 1990 he completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Minnesota Medical School. A diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he is board eligible in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. In addition he is also a member of several medical societies, including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology Society and Georgia State Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. He is presently director of reproductive endocrinology, infertility and in vitro fertilization at the Georgia Baptist Medical Center, Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program in Atlanta.as well as an assistant clinical professor at the Medical College of Georgia. He proudly serves on the local advisory board for the Atlanta chapter of Resolve and the National, INCIID Advisory Board. Most recently he has served as a consultant for the Johns Hopkins University in Toshkent, Uzbekistan and as well directing a multi-year endoscopic training program in St. Petersburg, Russia. He is married, has two
