C. Paul Perry, M.D. is a native of Mobile, Alabama, and a graduate of the University of Alabama with honors. He attended the Medical College of Alabama in Birmingham and completed his internship and residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He has over twenty-five years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has authored over a dozen articles in the scientific literature as well as being cited in many medical journals and textbooks. He has taught continuing medical education courses to physicians throughout the United States and internationally on the topics of Advanced Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy and the Treatment of Chronic Pelvic Pain. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics/Gynecology, a consulting editor for Obstetrics/Gynecology Journal as well as the American Association of Laparoscopy Journal and is one of only five gynecologists in the United States certified by the American Academy of Pain Management. C. Paul Perry is also a member of the International Congress of Gynecologic Endoscopy and has worked with the world's experts in the treatment of endometriosis and advanced laparoscopy, resulting in major strides for the treatment of chronic pelvic pain.

Dr. Perry is the Medical Director for the C. Paul Perry Pelvic Pain Center. Located in Birmingham, Alabama, the Pelvic Pain Center specializes in the treatment and care of patients suffering chronic pelvic pain due to endometriosis, pelvic adhesions and undetermined pathology.

In addition, Dr. Perry is a founder of the International Pelvic Pain Society. The society is made up of professionals engaged in pain management for women. In 1995 a group of physicians met to discuss their common interest in treating one of the most difficult of clinical problems. From the beginning, gynecologist, urologist, psychologist and other health professionals have been committed to an interdisciplinary approach to the treatment of chronic pelvic pain. The International Pelvic Pain Society was incorporated to serve as a forum for professional and public education.
