Rafael F. Valle, MD is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University School of Medicine. He received his M.D. degree from the Central University of Madrid, Spain and then did his Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty training at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis. His long interest in endoscopy, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, has resulted in his introduction of many innovations in the safe and practical applications of endoscopic procedures in gynecology. He has written extensively on the clinical applications of hysteroscopy and has taught innumerable postgraduate courses to practicing physicians.
