Behr, PhD, HCLD
Director of the IVF/ART and Andrology Laboratories at the Stanford University Medical Center, and Associate Professor of OB/GYN, and is a Board Certified Laboratory Director (HCLD)
Dr. Behr is a nationally and internationally renowned clinical and scientific leader in the research and advances of human reproduction. He is also the Director of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Laboratories, as well as Associate Professor at Stanford University.
As a world-renown scientist and lecturer, he is highly sought after to chair scientific programs and conferences. He has recently been appointed as Program Chairman of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society for the 2007 Annual Meeting. In addition, Dr. Behr co-chairs the Human Embryonic Stem Cell Advisory committee at Stanford. He is in the forefront of clinical and scientific advances in reproduction, nationally and internationally. Dr. Behr developed a culture medium for embryo culture to the blastocyst stage, which has improved pregnancy rates, implantation rates and reduced the risks of multiple gestations in IVF. Dr. Behr has been widely recognized for his research in embryo culture technology and embryo maternal interaction. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed publications, and has authored over 100 abstracts.
